Greg Meredith | Commissioner and Staff, Rural and Municipal Aid, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
Greg began working for KYTC as a scholarship student in 1979. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He served in the United States Marine Corp and the Kentucky National Guard. He is currently a member of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
After serving as a Chief District Engineer in District 3 for 13 years, Greg became the Public Work Director for the City of Bowling Green, serving in that role for 6-1/2 years.
He began working with the Department of Rural and Municipal Aid in June, 2025 and was named Commission of the Department in August of this year.
