National Association of Counties (NACo)

NACo is the only association representing America’s 3,069 counties, boroughs and parishes, serving nearly 38,000 elected officials and a workforce of 3.6 million public servants. NACo strengthens America’s counties, serving as a trusted voice in our nation’s intergovernmental system. We bring county officials together — urban and rural, large and small — to shape federal policy, exchange knowledge on national trends, promote exemplary practices and build leadership and peer networks.
