Kentucky County Clerk Birdhouse Project for Veterans

A long-running fundraiser where expired license plates are turned into birdhouses sold at clerk offices with proceeds benefiting veterans statewide. The initiative was started by Letcher County Clerk Winston Meade, a veteran, who began crafting birdhouses from donated license plates.
