KACo 2nd Vice President
KACo is accepting Letters of Intention from candidates interested in serving as 2nd Vice President for the upcoming term starting in November 2026. This position serves on the KACo Executive Committee (President, President-elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Immediate Past President).
- In accordance with KACo bylaws, the 2nd Vice President position for the upcoming year must be a member of the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association.
- Candidates must be county members in good standing that have paid their membership dues for the current fiscal year.
- Please note that no more than one member of the Executive Committee may represent the same county. For the upcoming 2026-27 term, returning members of the Executive Committee represent Grant, Green, Oldham and Union counties.
Important dates
- Letters of Intention must be received by Oct. 20, 2026.
- The election will be held on Nov. 19, 2026 during the annual business meeting at the 2026 KACo Conference and Exposition.
The newly-elected 2nd Vice President will take office immediately upon conclusion of the 2026 KACo Conference and Exposition.
