KACo 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President
KACo is accepting Letters of Intention from candidates interested in serving as 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President for the upcoming term starting in November 2025. These positions serve on the KACo Executive Committee (President, President-elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Immediate Past President).
- The 2nd Vice President position must be filled by a member of the Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association.
- The 1st Vice President position, recently vacated by former Grant County Clerk Tabatha Clemons, is open to an Affiliate Member of KACo, excluding members of the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association and the Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association.
All candidates must be county members in good standing that have paid their membership dues for the current fiscal year.
Please note that no more than one member of the Executive Committee may represent the same county. For the umpcoming 2025-26 term, current committee members represent Harlan, Oldham and Union counties.
Important dates
- Letters of Intention must be received by Oct. 13, 2025. No candidate shall file a letter of intention for more than one office. Download the form below.
- The election will be held on Nov. 13, 2025 during the annual business meeting at the 2025 KACo Conference and Exposition.
The newly-elected 1st and 2nd vice presidents will take office immediately upon conclusion of the 2025 KACo Conference and Exposition.
