Peter Forsgren

Peter’s entire career has been dedicated to the municipal and not-for-profit sectors. His passion for servicing these entities is evidenced by his earning a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University. He started his career as a program analyst for the Oneida Indian Nation and placed his feet firmly on the path of finding efficiencies to benefit organizations that serve the public. Peter later joined Rulison and Company as the first employee of the new Muniflow service – a service designed to assist municipalities invest their funds without endangering daily cash requirements. The service was eventually sold to Bank of America where Peter continued his career through June of 2014.
Peter gained vast experience through his various roles in different divisions within the Bank. Each position required customized approaches, identifying client needs and providing the right treasury services to meet those needs. In 2006, Peter earned his Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and maintains that designation to this day.
Peter’s commitment to the public and not-for-profit community is also exhibited in his volunteer activities. Most recently Peter has been elected as President of the Fairport Central School District Board of Education. He has previously served on the Seneca Waterways Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Roundtree Homeowners Association.
