Robey
Stephanie Robey has been with Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) since 2009, serving first as the Recovery Branch Manager and now in her current position as Assistant Director of Administration. Ms Robey has over 30 years of state government experience; including the Department of Financial Institutions, the Transportation Cabinet, and the Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts. Her KYEM duties include oversight of FEMA disaster declaration recovery and hazard mitigation grants, disaster preparedness grants, subrecipient monitoring, and the administration of the division’s fiscal affairs. When disaster events occur, she and her staff closely monitor and verify damage reports and request that FEMA validate those reports when the state threshold is achieved. Once validated, she drafts the Commonwealth’s major disaster declaration for submission by the Governor to the President.
